I dun think you can actually sue that mother fucker taxi driver but if you file your papers you can name him as the party that caused your marriage to fail. You can ask that all cost to be paid by him.

Seems like SG's society is having more & more people with no morals...these fellows are lucky they are in SG, the women have Women's Charter to protect them. For the guys without morals, in other countries, they have higher likelihood of being made crippled or they lives taken. Of course, 1 of the main reasons is, most victims dun dare to "retaliate". All it takes is someone to lose his "cool", and play with his life against those who wronged him.

From a religious point of view, these people may get away legally, but there will be pay-back time. And pay-back is likely with "interests".

Seems like SG is getting more & more unsuitable to settle down & setting up family peacefully...the Women's Charter was legislated during the times when many / most women were uneducated, or had little education, and dependant on the men in the family. And those days, many men were abusive. But times have changed, most SG women are independant, and most SG men are not abusive. But the Law is not keeping up with the times. Many other "poorer" Asian countries didn't have these Laws to protect women as much as SG, those countries / societies are also developing / growing / advancing well !

Having evidence of her adultery does not necessarily mean you will have custody of the child..... the court considers these as separate issues..... if your child is still of tender age..... it is very likely that custody of the child will most certainly be given to the mother....... the only way the father will be given custody is if the mother herself does not want the child.

I can vouch what NA just said above. I have evidence of my ex and her bf, entering her mother's home, very often. also both of them out in the night , hugging and holding each other's hand. according to my lawyer It was not ENOUGH

you can gather as much evidence as you can, SMS, recordings, pictures as back up but like NA said, if the child is of tender age, the child WILL go to the mother (unless she's a drug addict or in jail)

My wife and I have decided to divorce after 15 years of marriage. We like to do it amicably. We have 3 boys between age 12 to 9. I have fully paid the current HDB flat and she has not contributed any cash or CPF money. I like to keep the house to myself since it is near my work place.

I have started talking to her that she will have the boys and I will privately give her a lump sum to settle all the kids maintenance and money to buy a resale flat for them. If she is agreeable, she will not claim anymore money from me in future.

Is this workable, save me time and money on legal and other current flat transfer fee and other costs?
