Was told Song Saluem re-opened 3 days ago....

Never been to the old Song Saluem but heard good reviews about it.

Will check it out soon.

Heard its at Thonglor just nearby Escudo (Between Thonglor Soi 13 and Soi 15)... anyone free around the area can go check it out.

Wow...that's good news! Song Saluem was used to be a hot clubbing area before Liberty Plaza took over the thonglor crowd. After the crowd just disappeared and the pubs were forced to close down. Heard quite sometime back someone bought over the place and totally revamp it and they are trying to relive the place. Definitely a place to check out!

Nin nao hia I waited for the re-opening for ages already. The management has even acquired over the surrounding shop space. Should be even bigger now. Hope the original band is coming back too. They were performing at Song Saleung (Chiang Mai) last year.

It is funny relating how Siamcutey and buddy discovered this pub two years ago by accident when they sibei boliao walk from the beginning of Thonglor until towards the end. When they saw how come so many SYTs were walking towards a certain Soi. They decided to follow the crowd and viola discovered Song Saleung! After that this place that are full of beauties are touted by them non stop to samsters. Haha.

Song Salueng is at Thonglor Soi 21. Drop by Room 25 at Thonglor Soi 25 too.

Used to be my favourite haunt week in week out before the closure. MP models/WLs and club girls like to hang out here too. Always spot someone familiar there. Also have a bloody solid rocking Thai band. The drummer always wear a mask during performance. Haha.

was there last nite for dinner... been quite a while... quiet nite with not many patrons.... even at 10.30pm, there were only 3 tables occupied... heard upstairs no one also.... but maybe it was raining heavily last nite too...

was surprised to see Sugar Beat (jus next door) closed already...... *sigh*.... i've some fond memories of Sugar Beat too.... things change all the time....

Thanks mak2 for stirring up my fond memories (circa July 2003).. What good coincidence, not many samsters go PS. 1st outing with my tirak, she doing a coyote ugly on me (omg, *sigh*). She got pissed with kamikaze in PS (after whisky at pub across other end Udom Suk). Rest is history in making (censored RA).. Tried to repeat history after 3-4 months, but not same fizz (as you said, things change). Bad taste in mouth, she had a tff with another puying accompanying a guy friend..

ooi..GC King, have U been to Cha Cha Club at Ratchada soi 18? Any good?

Actually hor, the name on the door sign is Santika but in yr picture I C a letter Z.... so it is Santika or Zantika or maybe yr picture is reversed

I used to think its call Santika also... i'm not sure why now... maybe I saw on some signboard?

But local magazine call it Zantika... so I guess it should be Zantika.
