As I said, he is a cabby. We met at the first time I visited to SG to travel. On the begin of the Dec. 2009. Then we kept in touch n I managed to come SG to met him along my trip to KL last week. He is 31, I'm 23. I studied law and next month will work in the court. My family background not bad, and I'm not comming from a countryside family as he wish.

I guess he is feeling inferior because he is a taxi driver while you are going to work in court. I will feel uncomfortable too if my wife earns more than me. But then this is just my guessing only. It's better to ask him personally and tactfully, without hurting his feelings.

Few years ago I was in a much worse situation than you. I got smitten by a China ktv girl, and I even travel all the way to Shanghai to find her. Needless to say, I was looking for my "true love" in the wrong place.

At least for you, you are not in a relationship yet. So if not compatible, you can always look for another more suitable man.

I'm really confused. I like him, but not love him. I dont think about marriage at my age. And I dont think about money issue too. I'm not the kind of galz living in countryside hooking up for a man because of his money (n if I'm that kind of gal, I'm not hook into a cabby ).

We argued about money over and over. I remember last time we must make a deal, that never talk about money in our conversation. But I really dont think money issue makes any sense here. Am i wrong? He blamed on me to be a city gal with the materialism in gene , never suffer the poverty blah blah blah.

I think you can just ignore him for a while and see whether he contacts you or not. If not, then that means he is not interested in you so you can move on. This tactic is commonly used by many bros here for their VBs, but should work for you as well. Good luck.
