I am frankly bewildered as to why there still remains a trend of people sending bomb hoax emails or posting up on their online networking site intent to demolish a place through employment of explosives. The popular media and the Law Enforcement Agencies certainly make it known clearly to all and sundry the penalties for such.

But back to the case in point being discussed in this thread. We are not privy to the full facts of the case in question, it could be for instance that the lady blurted it out while under alcoholic influence, or some other unknown avenue which we cannot even imagine. IF she blurted it out while under the influence, it could have then been a concerned colleague informed the Police, who then investigated and found truth in her drunken murmurs, resulting in these goings-on now.

To sum up: the child is in custody, the father and child is being charged, and the father is now a fugitive from the law.

The hoi polloi, not being aware of such and also ignorant of the true meanings of rape and incest, make wild allegations and statements and in general should be made aware of this.

RAPE: Is the act of sexually violating another person without his or her freely given consent. (Consent given under duress does not count).
INCEST: Is the act of mutually agreed upon sexual acts by parties that have close blood relations.

The very nature of INCEST means that it cannot in any way be called RAPE, and hence 99.99% of Incest cases never see the light of day.
