Banana Spirits suck dry won't become dried corpse. They suck vitality (精気) and not the soul　（元気）.

I find it rather interesting that virtually all stories involving the use of sex with spirits also have the element of being drained of semen. Practically we got a lot of unseem spirits around the world, like the tree , flower spirits, the nagas (snake spirits) 地龙, the sea dragons, the yakshas, the malicious bood sucking ones, hungry ghosts and so many of them beyond our wild imaginations beyond our naked eyes
