You see, there are 2 possibilities that I can think of. First, she wants money, for that she is covering all angles in your life. At showhand stage, she will come after your family and squeeze herself between you and your wife. Second, she wants support, for that she is making you her pillar of strength. I am confused becos of her illogical actions and behaviour of a normal WL, dear bro xyz. Will a normal WL spend the whole day and night with you till next morning and yet never even mention about getting a single cent from you ??
