Apology for the late update. Here come the last part of my FR.
Mongering – wechat
This is something new this year. Thai girls are really tech-savvy or maybe it is because I cannot keep to the pace of technological advancement. They have all sort of social media apps on their mobile and usually have more than 2 mobile. This is where the FL market in Phuket is revolving to. Girls are no longer willing to submit to establishment like beer bar and agogo who take a cut of their earnings and rather market themselves on social media. Not that it is something new as FL in Singapore already practices this for a long time. But still I am surprise at how rampant it is in Phuket.

I have my fair bit of luck I reckon as I was able to score 2 really good ones from this channel. So my review is a positive one but again do not assume you will get the same as I really think one’s experience will differ based on the approach and also the target. I did not score the one I desired most as she practically priced herself out of the reckoning.

The two (on different days) I had was good not in term of the action, but in term of the quality and also the fact that the girl can make you comfortable quite readily. I like conversational girls and both are really willing to share a lot about the place, the job and questions you have for them. The first stayed with me from 2am till 11am and the second from 9pm till about 4am the next day. I asked the second to leave actually as I am catching a flight the next morning and want to do some packing up.

Personally I think there are pros and cons to this as compared to FL from disco. Firstly, luck. You really cannot guarantee that the girl who turn up is the same girl who chat with you. What I did was I ensure the girl have a long profile and there are like normal photos in a normal setting. The very glam photo probably is downloaded from some website. Secondly, the risk of scoring a Ladyboy. In a disco, you can guarantee that 100% is a girl as the security will check the identity of the girl, before allowing them in. Ladyboy are not allowed in the disco. And mind you, you can be surprise a lot of the ladyboys are stunning. You will understand what I meant if you ever monger in Thailand.

The standard rate the girls demand is B3000 ST and B5000 LT. Any frequent visitor to Thailand will know that you have to bargain in Thailand. Depending on how good you are, price can go low. I am not too good, the girl I desired offered me B4000 for ST and I cannot get her to settle for B3000. Gave up on her. Both the girls (22yo and 24yo) I had for B3000 LT.

I think the girls really like Singapore guys as both my girls were like texting Singapore customers when we were not doing the thing. So safe to assume, a lot of samster probably can associate with me or could even be the one the girl is chatting with.

Thai baht – Good time to visit now. I exchange my S$ for B25.35 which is the best I ever changed in my not less than 30 trips to Thailand over the years.

Ah Tiong – This is a global phenomenon or a global hazard if you ask me. These rich Tiongs are everywhere and they are a nuisance everywhere. You cannot stop them as they hold much more spending power than we do. Not that China is rich, but the people who can afford to come out of China are rich. Think about it, 0.01% of China will amount to 1.4 million people. Phuket have revolve to cater to these people. Advertisement, announcement, discount apps are all in Chinese. I hear more Chinese being spoken than thai in my whole trip there and it is not exaggerating. I had dinner one night in Shabu shi and 80% of the customers are Chinese. Scary, isn’t it. They have the potential to ruin the playground everywhere and they seem quite keen on doing it.

Did a quick trip to Phklet in Jul. It's very disappointing to me, getting from bad to worse. Quantity with low quality. Those with quality prob like farangs or maybe uncle fat and ugly. Like people in the thread said, PRCs are everywhere...thais are speaking pitch perfect mandarin, putting me to perfect shame.

Hollywood's partly closed. Tigers a little for the not so pretty girls. Iluzion a new kid on the block, kind of attracting younger crowd of thais and tourists. Seduction prob got a good mix of party goers and thais. To me, Iluzion and Seduction girls quality is way better, though when I was there Hollywood giving a very good deal for Smirnoff at 1,500 baht. I'll think twice about going Phuket, getting way too expensive and unfortunately, too cheena for my liking.

PHUKET: A new public transport initiative was set into motion yesterday with the launch of 50-baht van rides from the Old Phuket Town bus station on Phang Nga Road to Patong Beach.

The 15 seat vans will stop at previously established bus stops at Phuket Provincial Hall, Phuket Prison, Satree Phuket School, Vachira Phuket Hospital, Bangkok Hospital, Tessaban Baan Samkong School and Samkong Tesco Lotus.

“The van is scheduled to go from Phuket Town to Patong Beach every hour from 7am to 6pm and from 6am to 5pm from Patong Beach to Phuket Town. There are six vans in service,” said Terayout Prasertphol, chief of the Phuket Land Transportation Office (PLTO).

It will cost 50 baht to go from Phuket Town to Patong or Patong to Phuket Town, and only 30 baht from Phuket Town to Samkong or Patong to Samkong. Students will be charged half price.

Destination stickers are displayed in both Thai and English.

“This is a cheap transportation option that we are proud to present to residents and tourists,” said Mr Terayout. “I want to see people supporting and using it, as we have put a lot of hard work into it.”

The PLTO will keep a close watch on the new initiative’s demands.

“If people seem to need more vans, we may change the schedule so that they leave every 30 minutes during peak hours. We hope to provide more public transportation on the island.”
