I helped him already. We see what he says lor. If he can have a turnover of at least $200k depending on where his house is now + upgrade to a 2 storey 4BR house (machiam landed property because still got upstairs downstairs) and save on maintainable fees (but still need to pay conservancy fees) and he still complain his house too small cannot upgrade then I also cannot help him.

Don't have to wait for market to correct if you're selling your house and getting a new one (which you'll have to because you're buying a HDB flat). If you wait, youll pay less for your new house but you'll sell your house for less, if you can even sell it at all.
