the pieces you have posted is Khunpaen with Gumantong at the back made by LP Poon, Wat Pailom just earlier this year 2548, just before he passed away. Lp Poon is famous for making hanuman amulets as well. This batch of amulets, sadly, as with all batches that are popular, (due to Lp Poon passing away, this batch is quite popular) therefore resulting in 'fake' pieces circulating the amulet market. When i meant 'fake', i mean that the amulets were made wholesale in a factory, but then brought to Lp for chanting and consecrating (macham kaiguang) but due to his death and the popularity, the question is, who can tell apart a amulet that has been chanted or not? What about the factory that made the amulets? The sad thing about amulet collection is the commercialisation of amulets. =( Honestly to me, there is no trusted source, shops can hoodwink people, so too with people not sure of the amulet information end up also kenna their ownself.

Re: Thai Amulets...
hi bro jackylee, just to add on what bro slipper have say.. this 2 amulet is of the same batch there are another one that made of combination of bronze, silver, gold. plus the 2 u show is so call a complete set. the 2 u show shld have a very nice smell (is very strong). i like the smell, personally wearing the gray colour one, i have the 3 which i take over from a friend. cos once a while he will go thailand but not like bro Virgin friend so regurlarly. i like khun paen n LP thuat alot. i was told by another friend that the dark brown n gray color is made up of thai grave yard soil plus some other powder, that why the smell is strong but the smell will subside when u wear it for long.

Re: Thai Amulets...
Tat really looks like a Chinnaraj.
Like all amulets, it is supposed to protect the wearer from harm. *Provided you dun do all evil...

Re: Thai Amulets...
Cant see the 'logo' on the blurry photo, but it sure looks like a Luanphor Sorthorn, Chak-chung-sao, 2 years ago batch. U should ask the shop where u chow from. Yes, FLS got quite a no. of this LP Sorthorn to let chow.
