True, as others have pointed out always stay with what u know.
Only time you try anyone recommending a FL is ONLY if you truly know that person well and not out to scam u.

Even most of us long timers of AC are very cautious of picking up FL and some of us have set connections or methods for the pickup. Remember that it is a game but the penalties for losing the game is very costly, so know the rules well before you even think of playing. My 2 cents.

response of bangkok hotel is terrible. Kept emailing and calling them for my previous trip but nil response. I even walked in there when i was in AC to check that they realli existed but ignored by recept.

Can't seem to find any info on this casa del roque..on google or facebook. Any idea how i can see how this place looks like as i might be looking at a trip in early oct!

Bro ah hia.....haha. Its better for me to recce first at the bar scene and more choices. Gecko, camelot, lancelot and brown sugar will be the target..i saw this lady Athena from gecko...not bad.

What is u go there with 2 newbies and end up the hotel is fucked up ?

For me, first time anywhere, i'll usually book a hotel that is always recommended.
While staying there, i will recee other hotels for future trips.
