Location: Dr Tan's Clinic

A couple of weeks passed by after Ryan and Crystal came back from their honeymoon....

I am back to see Dr Tan for my follow-up checkup for the erectile dysfunction condition.

Dr Tan: "Henry, seems like everything is back to normal?"

Me: "Yes, all good now. Like you mentioned, it's more of a psychological barrier after that fateful accident. But luckily managed to break through that barrier."

Dr Tan: "That's good to hear. How did you know that?"

Obviously I am unable to answer that question. I can't possibly tell him that I got aroused because my lovely wife Angel is being fucked by someone else.

Me: "Haha I also don't know how to put it, but anyway, problem is behind us now."

Dr Tan: "Very good. Looks like you can enjoy your blissful marriage life now. Really envy you for having such a young and pretty wife."

Me: "Haha Dr Tan, am I hearing this correct?"

Dr Tan: "Err Henry, we knew each other for almost 20 years already. I supposed you would pardon me right? I am also a man, a normal human being. Your wife is really pretty and hot. Just like your daughter-in-law."

Me: "Crystal? She is here to see you? Anything's wrong? She just came back from her honeymoon a couple of weeks ago."

Dr Tan: "Oh nothing much. Just some routine check for married couples. By the way, are you planning for babies with Angel?"

Me: "Hmmmm never really thought of that. I am old already."

Dr Tan: "Maybe you should start thinking about that. Angel is still so young. You might want to discuss this with her. Like what you mentioned, you are not getting young. If you want, better plan for it now."

Me: "Good, seems like Ryan and Crystal are here to see you for family planning checkup. Looks like I am going to be a grandpa soon."

Dr Tan: "Henry, you know I can't comment on this even if they are your family. Professional ethics."

Me: "Too late. I already caught the drift. Ok chat with you more some other time. Got to go home for dinner soon."

Time: Wednesday evening 7.30 pm
Location: Home

Family dinner time. It's been becoming a regular affair with Ryan and Crystal coming back for dinner with me and Angel everyday. I am enjoying this family bliss very much.

Ever since my late wife and father passed away, the family has not been so happy and cheerful for quite a while. Me, Angel and Ryan and Crystal have grown so much closer over this period. Especially Angel and Crystal. They are more like sisters as they are so close in age. The only regret is that Rex is still seldom seen at home.

We are chatting happily about everything under the sun. About work, about the latest entertainment gossip, about the latest political news. Basically everything. With the bubbly Crystal around, we will never get bored.

Me: "Eh Ryan, I was at Uncle Tan's clinic this afternoon. Heard you and Crystal went to see him as well. Everything ok?"

Ryan: "Pa, did Uncle Tan mention anything?"

Me: "Oh nothing at all. You mean there is anything I should know?"

Just before Ryan can open his mouth to answer me, Crystal interrupted.

"Pa, Angel, I am full. I am not feeling too well. I go up to rest first."

That's a 360 degree change from just a moment ago. Me and Angel are totally taken by surprise.

Time: Wednesaday night 10 pm
Location: My bedroom

Me: "Where were you? I didn't see you after coming out from the bathroom."

Angel: "I went to look for Crystal. Felt something was not right at the dinner just now."

Me: "Ya, I felt the same. So did you manage to find out what happened?"

Angel: "Crystal is very upset. She confided in me, but I am supposed to keep it a secret for her."

Me: "Including me?"

Angel: "Yes, of course dear. This is women's talk. You are not supposed to know. I can't break her trust."

Me: "Is it serious? Everything alright with the couple?"

Angel: "I am not sure either. I will talk to Crystal again when she feels better. Will try to get her to ask Ryan to tell you about it. That's all I can say, dear."

My mind is full of question marks.
