So these period I think will have more checks as I think gov wants to closed down most of the ktv in geylang.

i doubt so.. government will rather have all ktvs in geylang and keep the crimes contained there.... if they start closing down ktvs and affect the livelihood of the gangster society, they'll take it underground very very easily.... just like those neighbourhood gambling dens in the past before the casino was built.

the other place is peace centre and havelock..... have anyone wondered why they've never encountered serious raids or have gals up lorry and sent home? at most up lorry then go home and sleep less those overstayers....

reason is simple.... there're containing the crimes at identified areas... then set up road blocks around them to catch drink drivers, and with practice, they can fence up the areas if anything serious happens within....

but occassionally must raid and put gals in geylang up the lorry to send a signal that singapore do not allow illegals and visitors to work without permit

guess the mgmt would always impose/enforce these strict rules fr now on,so as 2 keep their cash machine ringing 4 many years 2 cum.

and within this penalty period, if anything, boooom....

authorities are more concerned abt smoking, etc... now.... really no point catching gals as they just keep coming. might as well contain the vice there, and also the crimes... since criminal gathers where there're vice.... good move.

we are only less than 2 weeks away fr the ceasing of the so call "promotion" preiod.
we shall know the answer soon ..... real soon.

i donch like to tip coz already pay service charge. but what made me decide not to tip is coz the waiters/ waitress seem to think is "muz tip". give $4-5 some will KNN open mouth say not enough can give at least $10. from then on i always say NO, take from your boss.
