Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Finally We have been conceding just before half time in some recent matches. We look more assured. Our Cbs look good. Kabak has settled in. Mane, as usual, does not go down in the penalty box even though there is contact. I think Thiago will be substituted out for Keita. Thiago's tackling is really... ill timed

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
True. I mean you watched the match. His tackles are lunging tackle type. If mistimed, it causes a lot of pain on the opponent wherever his studs touch the opponent. He gives out free kicks and collect yellow cards too frequently. Last night, his first touch was not so consistent too. His passing ability is world class though. Still waiting for him to fully settle in.
I think we have a working defence again. Kabak and Philips look good and they have Fabinho protecting them. Competition for places in midfield is scary. Fabinho, Gini and Thiago started with Jones, Milner, Keita, Ox fighting for a place too. If anyone slack off, sure to be replaced.

Robbo's form has been very poor lately. His linked up play with Mane was almost non existent n even his crosses were poor.
Thiago is struggling in the EPL, can see that he's not used to the fast pace n hard challenges. Very obvious he performs better in the CL. Come next season I'm sure he would have adapted by than. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Klopp called this a "dirty three points"
Take it any day but especially now with the type of bizzare and incomprehensible season we have been having. Another clean sheet and a goal before HT was just icing the cake. Hopefully this helps rejuvenate what is left of this terrible season for us . Big shout out to Nat and Ozan, did very good last night and seem to geling up well. Ox also looked lean and sharp when he came on. |

Not a bad thing I feel. The average age of our squad is creeping up. We do need to rebuild. The worry though is many of our players in the age group of 25-29 are injury prone (Keita, Ox, Shaq) Joe Gomez, yet to turn 24, has 2 major knee injuries now. Not good for his career's longevity.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Watched the City v Monchengladbach game.
City look frighteningly good. No need to play an out and out striker and still able to score easily. Press, pace and intensity all there together with technical skill as well. And the subs, for instance Dias replaced with Laporte. Unless Pep messes things up by his over tinkering tactics I think City stand a really good chance at finally cliniching a CL for City. To me they are now clear favourites even better than BM. Really depressed |
