Called up a trusted mamasan and was informed nowadays business must be conducted in a very low profile mode due to frequent raids.
Action starts only at night. Returned at 19:00hrs only to see police patrolling the area.
Definitely a no go in current situation due to safety aspect.

Xiangxi Cun always have better quality stocks than Luohu Cun.
Not too sure about that now.

SUMMARY: In general the BBS scene in Shenzhen, Changping and Zhuhai is nothing like when compared to 4 years ago.
Authorities are trying very hard to exterminate these low end monger places as it's too in your face and open unlike the Saunas and KTVs.
One thing for sure is the BBS price in Shenzhen and Zhuhai remained the same throughout all these years!
In 2008 it was ¥130 (Short Time). In 2012 it's still ¥130 (Short Time).
BBS price in Changping is way overpriced. Currently ¥250 (Short Time) at Swan Lake Road (Tian E Hu) BBS.
There're cheaper (lesser than ¥100) BBS places in CP but I shall not go into that as the quality is below 5/10.

Nonetheless some of the Shenzhen BBS stocks are generally very attractive and good quality.
In Changping those Eurasia (Ou Ya)/Yi Hao KTV category 4-7-10 hostesses pales in comparision which is mostly 5.5-6/10 in looks.
So enjoy these last few remaining sparodic pockets of cheap BBS in South China while it lasts!

I'll be in Shenzhen on 13th June till 20th June and will be staying at Shangri-la louhu. Need some recommendation for cheonging around this area. It will be my 1st trip to SZ. I'm not the ktv type of person. Sauna, spa or massage suits me more.

The latest and most effective tool in SZ ( and many big cities) in China nowadays to engage FL is "wechat" aka weixin.

Many of them prowl online with foto and ready to serve all night long. Prices normally started off at 500rmb and can be negotiated. Some will accept 300rmb for a ST.

After established chat online, we can ask to speak to the FL on phone and even arranged to meet them at common area of hotels like lobby and coffee shops to "check the goods" before bringing them to hotel room. Kekeke.....

Wechat is ready a great tool and it's apps is readily available for download on Android and Iphone - FOC.

Very fun to use and plenty of "birds" available online.
