Yes. It means that "I told you this thing I am very scared"

dieu = thing
ngai= scared

Just curious. Under such situation, do you usually give her some money or simply ignore her request? I often encountered the same problem too, but I just reply that I will patronize her as a way of helping her earn money.

Case by case basis
I won't deny that I helped a number of viet gals in their rental, airtickets, extentions, etc
If the same gal keep on asking for help after help... I will run far far.
