So Mane & Milner back in the fold, Shaqiri must be there or thereabouts. Clyne the only long term injury still unavailable.

So are we now heading in to the home straight with our entire first team squad fit & available? Not to mention rested & hopefully refreshed after a nice little break.

Could we possibly be any better equipped to really go for all 3 competitions heading down the stretch?

From the start of this season all I wanted is the PL...and that still remains the ultimate, by a long way. But looking at the strength of our available squad supplemented by a few youngsters like Jones,Elliott & Williams bursting to be part of things, I now think there's more to be mopped up.

Saying that, if we end up with only the PL come May I'll be a very happy man and nothing will detract from that.

Just being greedy after years of ' trophy famine'

After 2 weeks, these players will be itching to play. Especially when they are playing so well before the enforced break. Sort of a rush to get back to business.

Back to last night's match. That will do. Just pick up the points and move on. It was the most typical post 10-14 day break performance from us as you could expect. The difference is we won. Conditions affected the way both teams played, but credit to Norwich, they didn't make it easy for us. Actually, how the hell are Norwich bottom? Where has this defending from Norwich been all year? They were pretty good last night, fair play.

Another plus point, this was a good dry run for Atletico on Tuesday. Simeone shall probably set up similar.

On to big shout outs for a few Redmen:

Did you watch online? I watched via Singtel and the commentator is not Martin Tyler. Basically Norwich parked the bus and found it hard to bypass our pressing.

Don't be so happy Man City is banned from Champions League. I worry that Man U can qualify for the Champions League as the 5th place team now. I rather Man U stay in some nonsense Europa league matches.

Weak performance due to the long break but we got the 3 points and move closer to the title.
Should be more polished for the next match because it will not be easy.

Yes, I watched on stream BT sports on MSNBC. Commentator is Ian Darke.

MU performance will not get into CL.

Norwich was setup to defend in numbers. The storm Dennis make life difficult. Norwich goalkeeper was super and kept Liverpool out.

Was a strong performance from the Reds.
