On Tues, I changed for 4.85 (SGD to CNY). Today at airport, was quoted 4.75 (I know airport rate are for "despos").

Suddenly RMB or SGD went down?

I don't think the RMB will go North so soon. (especially with leadership change coming) Mostly seeing the effects of SGD going South.

Imagine the effects of both currencies heading opposite directions!
Now it's just SGD heading south alone.
