I agree.

Xian is a good place to cheong KTV as it gives very good value for money.

Room costs at about just 600rmb,
Girl rates at 200rmb for sitting fees, 400 rmb ( it includes the sitting fees) for short time bang bang in the small rooms in the KTV. You would need to pay 100rmb for use of the small room though.

Overnight fees at about 1200rmb but the girls seem reluctant to do overnight

Is the news current? A few months back the spas and KTVs were dead due to the yanta.

i have many chinamen friends who travel from taiyuan to monger in xian
there is a daily train from taiyuan to xian that takes only a few hours and
costs 150 rmb

Thanks Bro for the update. Looks likes things are coming back to life in Xian.
Also I agree with Panadol that the MMs are reluctant to do overnight (LT). I also notice this since years ago.

Based on the news posted above, the police are targeting the streetwalkers.

KTVs on the other hand seems rather safe, but you never know...
Nonetheless, Xi'an KTVs gave me the best value for money I have experienced with Chinese KTVs.
200 rmb sitting fee, add 200 rmb to bang the girl shorttime (pay another 100 for the sleazy backroom for banging) ~ how to beat these price? Plus the girl stocks are good.

SAunas seem to be doing badly. My bro and I went to two places that were popular, now quiet with few girls, we waited for 30mins as the manager keep promising us new girls are going to show up for work, we eventually gave up.

Just cheong KTVs. It's cheap.
