Cant see any changes for PSG least Firmino doesn’t make it. Then i would go for Shaqiri and play Salah at the top.

If we dont win tonight, it’ll serve to make the Napoli game even more important and pretty much rule out changes too. Unfortunately, it being sandwiched between Chelsea and City makes it a very intense week for us.

Don’t see a need to rest many against Southampton as a complete 2nd team should be used in the League Cup thereby giving 1st team a week off before the Chelsea, Napoli, City run of games.

Wijnaldum also impressive and skysports gave him MOTM.

He was tripped and earned a penalty.

Milner taken two penalties and scored two.

Liverpool controlled the game and a draw will not be suffice.

Fantastic result. Glad the other result was 0-0 draw too. Napoli will be under great pressure now too.

Defensively, I feel PSG is quite organised. It is just that their midfielders are overwhelmed by the pressing from our front 3 and our midfielders. Their strikers just wait for the ball. I think PSG will take points off Napoli and Red Star Belgrade. 3 home wins and 1 away draw to progress.

Seasons gone by we would have dropped our heads at 2-2 but not anymore, now its fight to the end

What's also frightening(to other teams

) is that we have yet to see Fabinho, Keita and Shaqiri in full flight plus Mane and Salah have yet to reach full throttle as well!

This team now appears to be in very good shape and very balanced as well.

One thing though, would like to have seen Shaqiri on a bit earlier. He needs more minutes on the pitch to be of any use to us. Maybe a start for him and Daniel against Southampton perhaps?

I would like to see more of Shaqiri and Sturridge - for them to show us what they can really contribute to the team..

Salah should be rested the next match n Shaq to replace him..
Sturridge hopefully to start the next match also.
For entertainment value, I would rate Pool as 10/10, plenty of drama till injury time. Good thing Pool came out winners cos a 2-2 draw was an unfair result. Fantastic performance last night!

The vibes are great and the atmosphere now in dressing room is fantastic. Should watch Robertson and Sturridge interview to share a joke after the game was great.
