U can transfer funds to most big banks in china.

Most commonly is CCB, BOC, ABC, ICBC etc...

But very very troublesome... alot of detail is needed..

From atm only CCB accounts......

but internet .....any bank in China ok;
but only banking hours and have to pay higher fees (still very low)

whereas if you transfer to another CCB account in DG, no fees; and
to other CCB account 24 hours can. To other bank, I tried for eg. at night cannot.

YES, u can transfer via internet to other banks but must pay small fees. And only during banking hours.

whereas to another CCB account 24 hours can transfer. No fees if is to another CCB DG account. Other city must pay (smaller than to other banks) fees .

Can also transfer via ATM in China but only to another CCB account.

Can also queue at the counter and transfer to any banks but not practical as queue alway very long and must fill in form in 中文.

I recommend CCB also because the branch near the soup rest. have VIP/CK counter (like Citi priority banking); no need to queue long long......... but unlike citi no free coffee or milo only plain water from the cooler. hahahhah

Knn. U really alot of problem.

If doing Internet transfer to other bank, normally the transfer will take 3working days to process.

When u making funds transfer between 2 ccb account, what u need is only the name n account number.

But if transfer to other bank, u need to know even the branch the account is open at. Problem is many ppl only remember which city or town open. Where got remember branch. Btw do u know how many ccb bank in cp alone. Haha.

They let me in the VIP lounge when I opened my acct in BOC last trip.

Only deposited 4K rmb and they treated me very well, and saw some Chinese woman withdraw at least 150Krmb, putting them all in her big LV handbag.
