You see, 2 weeks ago Sg Ch 8 got a documentary series titled 家常菜 (Sunday 10:30pm) whereby a Thai woman married to Sg .. 7 (or is it 11 ?, I cant remember) years ago.

That show featured her cooking skills, how she relish her mom's cooking and how she blend into Sg society. She said she dont know how to speak a word of English when she came over, but after these years she could speak English quite well. She came from a very rich family in Thailand but she has to forgo those comfortable life and do everything on her own, despite her rich background, after she married her husband and moved to stay here.

Morale of the story - if the girl is with good charactor, not materialistic, she will follow her husband to stay in his country and start afresh given that she treasure her spouse.
