I would say the tier pricing in NY is as follows:

$30 - $80 low tier (underground/under the radar)
$90 - $140 middle tier (low end escort agencies, outer borough independents, hit or miss, often worse quality than low tier because these aren't under the radar. Until 4 years ago this used to be full of great little gems, but the best ones have closed down. Refusal of service after payment not unheard of, esp with escorts - something that doesnt usually happen in the low tier except for street girls).
$150 - $300 (middle league escort agencies, access to girls of choice, manhattan based independent workers).
$310 - $600 (high end escorts, specialty ethnicities i.e. japanese/indian, low end porn stars, true GFE providers).

NY is a city of contrasts, so paying more doesn't ensure you better service. Although on average tier 3 will be better than tier 1, the best of tier 1 might still top the worst of tier 5... in other words, the price alone only assures you that you will pay that price. It's a private club so I think you need to know a Japanese friend to get in, not sure if you must be Japanese too but I studied Japanese for quite long so even though I am rusty, I can pass off as an American-born Japanese.

If you drive along Nothern Boulevard you will definitely see a few quite easily. I PMed you a number of one I had scribbled down but the last time I been there was the end of last year.
