asking experts here
It will not be possible. U can try for a few days hitching more than 2 trips per day. Thereafter, grab will send u a warning.

Golden rule: Don’t get caught.
Most probably they do stacking. 1 trip hitch a few rides. Sure get caught if u do more than 2 trips cuz they really monitor.

Yes, they will definitely know. Otherwise how do they pay their driver based on trips and incentives. I believe after 2 trips, the system will auto lock out and can't key in any further. Grab & Uber work closely with LTA and I suppose LTA will send their staffs to test out both system to check for breaches.

Just to add some info here.

Based on my current Uber contract for new driver for per week activity:

1) Making 1st trip after collection of car & must be within 7 days, an incentive of one-off S$500/-
2) Follow by per week quest rental rebate incentive of S$125 for 25 quest trips. S$250 for 75 quest trips and S$500 for 125 quest trips for the first 4 weeks only. And what kind of rebate incentives after 4 weeks, ........ I will get to find out when I reached there.
3) S$100 rebate when returning car in a fully service and undamaged condition after 13 weeks rental.
4) S$333 discount per week for 13 weeks with PDVL.

Please note this can change depending on their weekly/monthly promotional programme.

Thanks for all your replies. It seems so complicated now. I thought with a car, or just rent one, go out and pick up passengers, send them to their destination, and that's it.

Both Uber and Grab have their own incentives to attract new sign ups. Guess up to TS to go figure out which one worth signing up.

It is Comfort (blue cabs) & Citycab (yellow cabs) that have joined with Uber.
Grab is open to any taxi driver from any taxi company that wants to join them.

T.Q. v. much bro for providing the latest info ...Gee, sorry, i m out-of-date ..but since the tie-up wif Uber was just abt a month ago only...it prolly takes more time b4 the taxi drivers come over to Uber as well...den again, they hv to choose which one gives them a better income, Grab or Uber...as far as i know, Uber is offering their drivers better benefits in terms of incentives at least if nothing else...
