Complicated Story. Need Help.

since on subject of flat, I wan to ask, my friend recently bought a resale from agent(owner deceased).

my friend wish to bring a few contractor to look at the flat and get a quote of the repair.

at the moment have not done resale completion, so no key. just want to know, from now till get the key, every time want to bring contractor see the flat, must call agent ? any other way becaz like very trouble agent if keep asking him go down just to open flat lol

really no choice, unless you make friend with the agent.
1 way is to take lot of pics at the area you want to renovate or simply go for a complete make-over.

Well, considering that the agent will be adequately compensated for his time and effort (if you eventually do buy the flat, that is).

Remember, you are paying commission to the agent so don't feel bad. Times are bad now and many there are many agents dropping out because of the scarcity of business. Still, having said that, please do consider monetary or in-kind compensation for troubling the agent.

Just curious, are the repairs really that extensive, that your friend thinks the quantum is so large that he has to get multiple quotes?

Bro, Have a chat with you father and slowly bring up the topic. Do this when he is in a good mood. Make sure that his new wife is not around. See what he feels about it now.

Whenever i meet him, his new wife wont be around. Cause we state it clear that she's not part of my family. Bring up the topic to him last night, he doesnt have any expression. Think high chance he sold the flat already. Really in a lost right now.

Doubt i can bring happiness to my mum now.

T'S can apply for 2rm bto flat if he is single as it is cheaper but fyi, single must pay an extra of $15k which can deduct from CPF, this sum of money will refund to u when u get married, it is the info I got from HDB years ago, dun know is it the same now. Meanwhile waiting for Bto flat, rent a small room outside with your mum. The rental fee for the small room estimated $400, the small room refers to the extra utility room which build in the kitchen for those upgrade flat.

Thanks for the info. Gonna try apply bto with my gf. Now trying to do some planning and researching first. There is also my sister that is staying with me as well.

So might look for bigger flat.

Say bye bye to the flat, buy your own. Not worth to fight a losing battle, although you're still a legal child to your dad, but he has got a new family and a new kid on the block, you are old enuff to fend for yourself, he won't need to feed you anymore.

Tell your mother that her ex-husband is worth divorcing for but she should have agreed to sell the flat and divide the proceeds, he has cheated you both.

Thanks for the advice bro, but when i knew about this, it was too late already. That's why thinking what should i do. Although i'm old enough, but the housing price now is way too high to buy a flat. Trying hard to get more money.
