Hmmm.... I hope you and others here are not gonna take offense at what I feel I need to say now.

Yes, perfectly fine for anybody who just experienced a break-up to pour out his heart, and many times, it IS good/therapeutic.

But you must know when enough is enough!
And 2 months is IMHO more than enough time!
Has TS run out of a sympathetic ears IRL and thus turning to here for more?

TS - you go on too long with searching for a sympathetic ear, you are gonna turn even your best friends off! Everybody's gone through similar or even worse and you must not obsess to the point that your friends are gonna start thinking you're pathetic. Even if your friends tolerate your moaning, they are gonna have less regard for you if you over-do it.

Time to take your life back into your OWN HANDS; figure out what you need to do now, cut off ALL contacts, thoughts and FEELINGS for what had been and just get on with it.

The longest it took me was close to 6months.
maybe it's time to find what you really want in life bro.
As the saying goes 'no point to give up the whole forest just for a tree.'

As friends, or just as another human being even on a faceless venue as the internet is, it IS incumbent for us to lend a sympathetic ear, to encourage, advise etc., but there always come a time when enough is enough and it’s time for some “tough love.” And the sooner this happens, the better it is for the sufferer.

6 months? I’ve had to endure longer before I just said to a good friend – “Snap out of it will ya?!” And proceeded to lecture him along the lines of my previous post above.

Oh sure, he wasn’t all too pleased at the moment but a few days later, he phoned and told me that my harsh tone was precisely what he needed to get his life back on track…… and that he wishes that I would have spoken out earlier as then he wouldn’t have wasted all that time pining away, practically turning himself into an emotional AND physical wreck, for what he then/now realizes is actually …….. NOTHING!

Just IMHO of course and not to cause offense to anybody.

TS.. Not that I am the best at advices but from time here in this forum i have seen many old timer bros giving some of the best advice money could buy. Whatever the reason for the break up, know that the next one will be better. Remember, the medication is bitter but it will make you better. Take care bro
