To be fair and square.

All religion is the same now adays.

Christian. The god being all mighty, Who created everything, yet still needs u to donate 10% of ur pay.
Why? God need USD AND sgd?

Buddhist. Buddha advocate Karma. Be good to people. Yet we have raciost aunties who speak foul of other people. Never do a deed of selflessness. Yet go Buddhist lodge and just pray for blessing with incense joss sticks. Real Budhist don't pray with joss stick. And they try follow the way of Buddha's teachings. How many buddhist know the teaching of buddha nowadays?

Having say all this. There are religion people who follow true to the original teachings of their religion.

At the same time, alot of poeple use the name of their religion in vain.

Although I am a Chinese decendant and is a free thinker. I respect all religion's true teaching.

please read in depth about other religion before condamning 1 religion base on just 1 extremist/lost view.

Erm let me correct you, all religions, especially ORGANIZED religion is the same. When you have ORGANIZATION, you will undoubtedly have POLITICS. When you have POLITICS, you will undoubtedly have Dickheads proclaiming they are messengers of said religion and they get a POWER trip from that. When they have POWER, they make mindless followers who will listen to whatever they say, including

1. Donate $$$ to their cause so that their wife can become Mega superstar cos its God's will, its God's will not to let you have more $$$ because you are just a follower.

2. Donate $$$ to his charitable foundation so that the venerable can go gallivanting with his gay boyfriend to australia.

3. Give your children to him as pageboys so that his humsup priests can molest since they need to be "celibate".

4. Ask your followers to burn and slash people's homes because they don't traditionally belong in the land your followers live in.

5. And of course not forgetting

a. Make women and non-believers live as 2nd class citizens
b. Promote world-domination through the blood, death and destruction of non-believers
c. Make their followers go on suicide missions to save the ORGANISATION
d. Stone people who happened to be in love to death
e. Behead people who mock their leader cos he is beyond reproach
f. Marry and consumate with underaged girls
g. Justify sexual slavery
