i have been in and out of china and mongolia since 2011
so what these china wls are thinking i will try to stay one step ahead of them
living in china gave me great insight into their mentality
i have lost some money ,learnt some hard lessons
china is a wild jungle for those who do not stay long enough to experience these things
for your info when i had real trouble at the china-mongolia border
even the china police helped me more than my ex ktv girl in dalian
you just imagine what type of person she is
when i had trouble she pretend not to receive my phone call
but when i had lots of money at one time she will call me 5 times a day in china even when her son was around

The remaining sale proceeds were to go to his immediate family, but the home is expected to sell for only $600,000, so his family may not get anything.

Mrs Saw said her husband changed his will in 2012 to redistribute funds initially set aside for his family.

In tears, she told Wanbao: "I knew he liked to go out to drink and have fun, but I always thought he was just flirting around, and would still be focused on the family. But little did I know that he would make such a decision."

She added that she could not comprehend why her husband made such a move.

To safeguard her own interests as his wife and with support from her children, Mrs Saw used her savings to hire a lawyer to appeal to the court.

"After my husband's business failed in 1986, he didn't have a job. Since then, I've carried the burden of being the family's breadwinner and brought up our children. How could he quietly leave his money to a stranger and none for me?" said Mrs Saw.

The widow said that she had never met the Chinese national. The woman, whom her husband met at a bar in 2009, is from China's Liaoning province and works as a service staff member at Marina Bay Sands, she said.

During mediation, Mrs Saw said that the woman reiterated that she and Mr Saw were just friends and did not have an intimate relationship.

Mrs Saw said that in her husband's beneficiary nomination form for his CPF savings, his relationship with the woman from China is listed as "goddaughter".

She raised doubts over this as Mr Saw initially wrote that the woman was his "granddaughter", before changing it to "goddaughter". "One can imagine that when he was making the arrangements, he was not thinking clearly," claimed Mrs Saw.

But the court decided that Mr Saw and the Chinese national had maintained a good relationship - regardless of whether the woman was his "goddaughter" or mistress.

As there was insufficient evidence to determine Mr Saw's state of mind when nominating the Chinese national as his beneficiary, the judge did not rule in Mrs Saw's favour.

Being in China "full-time" over the last few years, has also given me a lot of insights and life lessons that can never be had in SG. Compared to China, SG really is more level a playing field (literally in job and in FLs) and also a very much more civilized place. Everyone can read about China being the world's 2nd biggest or biggest economy, but in a lot of places, there are still folks that are growing rice, vegetables or fruits by manual labour, without machines. Every year these kind of family earn a yearly income of 10K RMB or 15K RMB if they are lucky. So with the economic boom that drive prices up, these fellas at the bottom feels the squeeze and cast envious glances at their city neighbours like in Shanghai/Beijing/Guangzhou/Shenzhen etc....

Here's one true story that I personally encounter with one of the DongBei KTV girls....

Met this girl in Mayflower KTV in the old CP, when CP was still the playground for us SG/MY folks. This girl has decently good looks and a nice 35C boobs and fair and slim body. With make-up, she can pass off as a B'grade' HK actress. I managed to pick her from the "Flower street" off Mayflower and this girl was the darling of the night.... Her overnight fee was : 1200 RMB. That's SG$240 back then.

Had a lot of fun singing and chatting and then romping in bed. The next morning, she tried to "KumCheng or KC" me, asking for a tip of additional 300RMB making it 1500 for the overnight...
