Re: bodybuilding supplements..
thanks guys for the valuable feedback and info.
previously used to active in soccer.every week would be involved but due to work commitments, have stop completely. im 30 this year and 90% i believe its due to my food intake. recently been drinking lots of water as previously im more to canned drinks. tried cutting down on my food, bit the urge to eat its uncontrollable.haha. i kinda prefer oral as im not comfortable doing injectables. i weight 60kg,im kinda slim, its just that my stomach bulge is too obscene like an old man with a beer belly. tried doin abs exercise but stopped after 3 weeks as there was lack of motivation and felt disheartened. |

Re: bodybuilding supplements..
Hi bros,
I am a hardgainer. I train hard but dont eat so hard. It is tough for various reasons and ended up in the hospital due to bulking in a manically unhealthy way. Have tot of trying any of the -bols to see if i can shoot pass my plateau weight. I did have that massive 10lbs growth spurt at the start. Do advice bro. I know it is not the way but perhaps one for the road? And i am in my mid 30s who took up weightlifting in recent times. |

Re: bodybuilding supplements..
Bro thundermonkey, i fully understand how u feel.
Im a hardgainer too n it took me awhile to put on the weight i have now. I used to be very skinny at 58kg. Through a combination of pumping iron and eating, i managed to up my mass to 88kg. Now im doing cardio to down my weight to ideally around 80 so tat i can be more nimble n less clumsy. So effectively i have been there n done that without using mass gainers or steriods. Btw im in my 30s too. May i understand how much are you trying to gain? Wat exactly happened that landed you in hospital? If u wish, i am more than happy to share my experience with you n hope it helps

Re: bodybuilding supplements..
hi bro,
I started at 55kg. And in abt 10mths i went up to 69kg. that was my max. Now i am back at 65kg. I ate and ate. I gues si consumed too much protein and supplements. Now i am back to natural eating. Only time i take a protein shake is on training day and the day there after. I have a problem from eating too much. I tend to puke if overeat. I train a mixture of powerlifting and bodybuilding. I have no problem with strength gains. And my arms are lagging way behind my other body parts. |

Re: bodybuilding supplements..
Natural eating is the way to go.
You see results so much later but your body feels good in the long run. Pierre.

It is one of those who have been around for a while, and many pros and amaeturs go by it. It is slightly more expensive that the 100% gold, but the idea that its protien is extracted naturally is what many bodybuilders look out for. |

Re: bodybuilding supplements..
Thanks for the tips bro.
Supplements are one thing. But the main problem for me is proper eating. Supplements can only do so much.I use it mainly for doms and when i skip a meal. Currently on protein isolates cos it is minimal in amount and doesnt give me any after effects so far. I will keep trying though. Strength is there. Muscle growth is there. Just that it is very slow compared to if i ate proper. No excuse for me. |

Re: bodybuilding supplements..
Supplement meant to improve your training and not to change your body.
lots of guys want to bulk up fast. It is effective but not natural. |

Re: bodybuilding supplements..
Perhaps could i be training wrongly?
I do an average of 4 workouts per muscle group. Usually 2 groups in 1hr abt 3 to 4 times a week. Ranging from heavy weights for 5 to 6 reps and medium weights for 8-10 reps. It usually starts off with compounds for chest and back and more isolation for the arms. |

Re: bodybuilding supplements..
I suggest you seek professional assistance if you are unsure, especially on the training.
I had a personal trainer for 1 year before I decided on gym on my own. Though it is expensive, I was able to learn. Pierre.

Re: bodybuilding supplements..
Correct! The kitchen most people don't see it as the more important factor.
