TS, a cold heart can be warmed by a caring hand.
Though u say ur heart has turned cold.....it seems tat there is a still a little spark and all it needs is ur wife's warm hands....aka more caring towards u and stop whenever she is doing tat is stabbing ur heart.

if the heart turn cold after disappointment more then once, you still call it 'suddenly'? If there is no expectation,there will not be disappointment. Your heart turn cold is because you expect something that person cannot achieve. maybe you knew it from start,yet u are still holding on.

Heart can turn cold , suddenly isn't the right words to use .
It just happen and you didn't realise it till one day you do. Disappointment lead you to stop caring , and as days goes your heart died. As for my case , it did. It did turn cold after times and times of disappointment , but recently something changed and it's getting a little better , start to do more . Being taken for granted can lead to someone's heart turning cold.. Cheer bro
