Just because people that has more sex, dies younger does not mean higher sex activity per se shorten the lives.

It could be lifestyle diff (ppl with high sex drive also tend to be risk taker) or higher chances of contracting sexual disease (ie AIDS etc)...

personally,
i believe everything, including sex, must be done in moderation (not too much, not too little)
furthermore every individual body varies (be it genes, shapes, sizes, height, metabolic rates and many other factors to consider) therefore only we can gauge ourselves: whether did we over-exert ourselves physically in certain activities???

however, whether shorten of our lifespan is true or not, that is a mystery.
on the other hand, living old or not is not an issue, but living gracefully or fulfilling is a big picture for us
(are we still energetic into our old age??? can we still have meaningful sex??? are we a burden to the society???)

currently,
my overall routine (including sex) is very healthy.
sex is part of communication too, not necessary must bonk.
i prefer to bonk joyfully, pleasing to both parties on bed......
