The best advice is point A: whoever has physical access to your phone can compromise it. Secure it.

On the other hand, there is not much basis in saying MMS carries trojans or executable code residing in standard SIM cards. Technically possible, yes, but unless your wife has the budget of NSA, it is difficult to do.

Yes and no. I will also not want you to be in trouble too. Its better to be educated and safe.

I have to tell you that you don't need a budget of NSA to get a spybot installed into your target's phone. In my line of work, I have asked some associates (not my specialty) in the business to demo'ed to clients cheap and easy to install and easy to use SpyBots...

Everyday I walk into 7-11 buys a low tech samsung phone and puts in a new prepaid sim card, after I make my calls and arrangements, I dump the phone and sim card away.

Is there anyway my security is compromise?

I can't help it if NSA is monitoring my calls from the satelites.

You must be rich to be able to afford that kind of lifestyle.
A low tech Samsung phone cost you $40-50. A prepaid sime card - $8

So you throw away $48 everytime you cheong.

Thats perfectly good if you want to be 'sanitized'.
But that's a little extreme. You dont need to waste money like that.

My advice is to get those earlier 2G phones. One can still find them in night markets or used phone shops. Try Little India, you can find plenty of used 2G phones (Nokias, clampshell Motorolas...) and just throw and replace your prepaid cards every 3-4 weeks.

This question has been asked of me many many many times in my PM mailbox.

I like to requalify myself. My partner and my business is in CST. So I don't track other phones. That's a PI job. My service is one of a discreet counter-surveillance tactics. These are 2 complete opposites.

If you want to track another iphone, there is a simple program called iPhone Tracker. Load that app. Or if you want to... google it. I don't need to copy and paste info already on the web and can be searched on Google.

If the survellance app is install on the phone, then most CST techniques should work.

But a season guy knows that you don't need to track the physical phone itself in 2 scenario:

1. If you are in the vincinity of the phone user, you can setup as a relay between the phone and the base station (in brief). Most CST are consumer based and are concern about securing the phone, not the base station or the area around it.

2. If the asset is high value, the bug would be attached in the telco backend server where all voice, and data are recorded for archive purpose forever. (In brief)

Again, the above is in a free resource scenario, without mention of difficulty.

Deleting sms and contacts dun work. They can be restored easily on the physical phone. Any further enhancement to the security of the phone is a hassle and will cost more than $40 on an hourly basis anyway.
The pre-paid cards I get r unregistered anyway.

My house has no reception and I can't explain to my gf/fb why my office and house persistently have no network when they come over. Handphones can't be used at all. Anything transmitting data or have a hard disk can't work also. (I'm paranoid) but the computer on my desk can work. And can the handphone on my desk.

With my GF, I use a clean phone that I only communicate to her. This is an old trick in the book. So even if there are 100 bugs in the phone its ok. I just use it for her. My locations are pre-fixed to various destinations like office, home and approved locations.

Phone is just one area. After securing phone, you still need to think of the GPS in the car.

I am waiting to meet a girl that can see through my tricks. She will be a gem imo. And no chance of that being six sense.

The decoy phone cannot be dedicated to just her. Decoy must function like a real phone so there must be sufficient amount of activity like:

-Normal working calls.
-A bit of flirt (hi baby...u r pretty, u make me horny cos u r a hot woman etc) and end off with "I'm sorry, I can't meet you. I am already committed to my gf/co etc.
-calls to other numbers

You get the picture.

i have some experience in this field. unless you are using special software, all phones can be tracked. in fact, a HP has to be tracked in order for it to work.
