The best solution is to have COEs. Those FT who wants to come to singapore as pros or masseur must bid for COE. Those who operate without COEs are imprisoned ,caned and fine. Firstly, The govt can make lots of money. Secondly their procreation policies will work as supply can be controlled and men had to stay at home to bonk wife instead .

Personally, I think the MAJOR culprit is the media.

Last week on 'Get Real' by Diana Ser, kenina, last night on Channel 8 again, another late night special on China FLs....

Whether new PM or not, one media whipped up public interest, AV & SPF have no choice but BE SEEN TO DO WORK !

I pity operators who kenna wacked - those without 'fall guys' like the Bt Timah 74-year-old operator who took the rap, - sorrows ! kenna fine like nobody business !

Anyone know what the fine is like if kenna raided ?

I think worst is:-
(1) Illegal entrants
(2) caught in sex act
(3) condoms found

Then with 'divide & rule' scae interrogation tactics, seperate interviews & playing one's words against another, somebody will panic & start to admit, this evidence then used to compromise another then AV have good case for DPP to press charges.....

still, like some cheongster says, there is rise & ebb in tides... life will go on, lower profile and eventually, so long as it is a contained phenonmena, golden triangle, HC & TuiNa as we know it will still exist, but maybe not thrive...

My read into the AV raid situation is like this.

The battle between AV and the pros will always go on. As a country prosper and guys having more spending power, pros will naturally increase. This is the situation not just in Singapore but all over in the developed countries. It takes AV and a lot of resources to conduct such raids - intelligent feeds from the targetted areas, size of AV force to conduct an effective raid, logistics that come from such raids which includes temp housing for suspected vice operatives etc. AV is also not just focus in curbing the WL activities but also looking at illegal gambling locations, drug addicts hangouts, illegal transactions on contraband items etc - so we see that AV are stretched at this moment. Unless of course AV goes on a mass recruitment drive where they can have more resources.

We are in an interesting phase of nation growing. Particularly so after the procreation policies are announced and in place. Remember that it take 9 months for a baby to be born and for single guys, this exclude the time the guy meets the girl he likes, marry and agree to have one. For married couples, it takes a shorter time. So when you are looking at these AV raids, the way I see it is to create a 'scare' tactic (what with the media coverage) particularly so for the married men as these married guys can help improve the birth rate fastest. This 'scare' tactics should continue for about 1-2 months before we see it tapers off again.

We are in a phase as a country where we are liberalising certain previous taboos (such as bar top dancing and more censorship ratings, planning for casinos etc) All these introductions will affect existing marital relationships. That's why we are seeing a rise in divorce rates and marriage counselling. So these procreation policies would not see much positive effects until after 1-2 years optimistically. I felt that to have a healthy birthrate, the government emphasis would not be so much as in the AV raids as it is not the majority of guy that go to GL, HCs, KTVs etc but on the nurturing and creation of a healthy lifestyle where interaction between opposite sex are encouraged

With a strong AV presence and prolong raids, it can also produce adverse effects like some bros in the previous posts pointed out. Already we are seeing these pros making inroads to HDB estates and being more daring to expose themselves in the daylight. The customers of WLs are not silly either, if Singapore prove intimidating, they will look at alternative locations such as neighbouring countries. It's like riding a horse - the AV sometime have to pull (rein in such activities) and sometimes have to let go but on the whole they have to curb or rather control the activities of WLs.

So there you have it guys - my analysis of these AV raids. If you are realy horny and do not want the risk of being caught at this moment, try alternative locations, if not wait out this period and then ...

My two cents worth of comments:

The current raids carried out by the various authortries is in rsponse to the complains receviced from the public and the media. But if one thinks carefully: for the government to completely stop such activites in Sg is almost impossible i.e. if there is a demand there will be a supply but on the other hand, if they wants to carry out a major clean out operation say in GL, it won't be too taxing on their resources to completely surround GL with law enforcement officers. Once done, they can carried out search and deport mission at their own time!. Even if they just question the individual gers caught in the net and release them one at the time, these gers will be scare to death. I suspect that such raids are also carried out more as a response to fighting among the customers, pimps or among the gers themselves. We must always remember that our government is extremely efficient, there are so many top scholar in the various ministries who are paid to do nothing but to think how to solve the problem, so long as these night activities are restricted to DRA and it is kept to the minimium such raids will slow down.

We should not be too worry or concern about such raids, these gers that came to sg to sell themselves should know the risk involved. The only advantage that we have is that we will always have new stock. For those who are worried about such raids, he can go to our neighbouring countries to cheong peacefully. Afterall airfare is so cheap to as far as China

isn't the media supposed to be gov controlled?so how can it be they set themselves against each other?

I do not know what kind of punishing has being meted out to FL or WL etc while in Sg, but FYI for China gers caught working as pros in overseas countries kenna 'jia luck, jia luck' when they landed in China. Allow me to share my experience:

I am a frequent traveller to Guangzhou China and have most time use China Southern airline. There was once, while boarding the aircraft, I noticed two group of PRC man and gers has already board the aircraft b4 us. The thing that strike me was that all the men wear ball cap and the gers are all young and beautiful. Happened my seat is next to one of these gers. I noticed she was dead tired. While the aircraft was in the air, I asked her why the male passengers don remove their cap. She told me they are all overstayers and part of their punishment is caning and also their head is shaved. She also told me that she was caught while working as a FL in GL. I took the opportunity to ask her what kind of punishment she receviced? she told they were locked up and questioned. At the end of the questioning they were required to leave the country at the next available flight. irregardless of their final destination. I told her as she wasn't sent to jail or fine then it is not that bad for her. Was told that the biggest worry is when they landed in China cos they will be detained by the gong ann and perhaps sent to jail with a heavy fines. She told me the money she make in Sg may not enough to pay the fines. The worst part is that after the orderly at the gong ann she still has to find a way to go home which is somewhere in the north. Although I pity her there is nothing much I can do and wish her all the best.

True enough, after landing in Guangzhou, gong ann was waiting at the ICA counter and all these ppl were escorted into a holding room.

After hearing and seeing with my own eyes, I always make sure I pay what I suppose to pay to these poor gers for your services.

I dono how to agree with you. But when I was in Jakarta scene, I meet up with gals who fly abt these areas. In each country they have a limited number of days of stay. So after their time is up in that country, they move abt, running from country to country around s.e. asia. Usually from indonesia to singapore, then to thailand, philipines, then to here and there and so fore. Of course, they are keep by thr pimps. Of course I pity them, and they are so young. Beautiful? You bet.

Sometime really makes me wonder where their $$$ goes to. to the boss or themselves. Of course, I believe that our AV and ICA has notice this trend and literally stop these gals immediately upon arrival in singapore.

In airport, I heard that if they are from china, and you come alone, young beautiful, they bar you from entering. in the cause way, they stop you for question and so on. I believe some brothers here have seen it with their own eyes as well... where the car infron of you at woodlands is being asked to park aside. then the gals are being asked to come down for interview.

Overseas, espeically in jakarta, they are easier to get in, due to less strigent rules or immigration authorities. It is all abt $$.

Frankly speaking. I wonder why sometimes I should fork out 1M Rupiah just for a china gal( About 200 sin). Are they worth it? Where as in singapore, they are cheaper.

I admit I have my fair share of indonesian gals, most are pretty, nice figure and great in bed too. an they are much cheaper as well.

But the damn place is a rip-off for the gals.
If u ever have 'frens' want to go there tell them not to go.
They are paranoid about the security of the place.
And everything is chargeable - accomodation, money to mummy, even the taxi transport to and fro work and alot of other misc fees.
Thats why it cost more over there than in SG

Sercurity? If you got friends there, it is not a problem. True if you roam the streets alone. Not advisable. Go by transport. with locals. Depends on where you go to also. I admit that it is cheaper if you go jakarta than in Batam. And picking up of gals are much easier and cheaper, better quality and selection in Jakarta than in batam.

Taxis in Batam can a rip off if you ask them to bring you to find gals. Check out with the old birds here... Like DNAT and Batam Man... Both are good at batam. THere are few other famous samsters in Jakarta too.. check the internation thread.

Hotel rates are cheaper in Jakarta than Batam also. Sad to say, BAtam has been inflated by men from singapore. I find the cost of living there is high too, compared to other parts of indonesia.

Also there is cheaper alternative at Tg Batu or Pinang. Check out the thread there. With some good samsters, you will find that it is not that bad after all.
