Not really ranger ba... its policeman... Just that they patrolling the area, and choose and pick tent to check... Nothing much.. Just check id nia... As what they said that area (during that time) alot of illegal immigrant around. So just to make sure...

Bro... I think only certain area don't need permit. As far as I know (From National Park Web), you still need to apply permit for tent in the major park/beach like ECP, Changi Beach, Sentosa Beach etc... But usually they don't even bother to check, even you pitch without applying :X Unless damn sway...

And I asked who's that... and they said policeman... so quickly wear my shorts, and my gf cover herself with clothes, and then open the tent... then they asked for our id.. so I just take mine and gf and show them... He see see le, then shine shine on us, then returned me le... say if see any suspect ppl lurking around, can call 999... as per post above, during that time got illegal immigrant...

From my knowledge Pasir Ris beach, East Coast Park don't require permit anymore. I've setup tents at PR beach a couple of times already but you're not allowed to pitch your tent inside those fixed shade for people to take shelter from rain. Those doing so will only get the park rangers to come running after you to remove your tent from inside. Beside it is still ok though.

BBQ pit still needs to book in advance but it's free. I don't know about Sentosa as I don't really like going there as everything is more expensive there.

used to do that when i dont have my own room.

the thrill is nice, esp when u need to open up a bit to let the wind blow in, other wise it is damn hot in a closed up tentage. although there are no lights in the tent, u still feel worried that your love making positions shadows are cast on the tentage and for all to see from the outside.

the only bad thing is, the floor is hard and uneven, so may encounter bruises.

Years ago I use to go camping at East Coast with my SG gf on almost every weekends. We do visit 81 too on weekdays when one of us gets horny.

We started with a cheapo 4 men tent from Carrefour and towel to sleep on. But soon we like the excursion so much we upgraded to expensive Eureka 8 men tent, Coleman queen size air mattress, air pillow, Dueter 45 litre backpacks.

Ya, fucking in the tent is warm and limited to certain position only but it is the overall trips consisting of fishing, booze with food at the food centre, canoeing and junk food breakfast Mc Donald's that makes us look forward to it every weekend.

We can't camp at crowded spots near the Mc Donald's cos when we fuck, can see the tent moving a little (due to the springy bed stuffed near the corner of the tent).

Bros who are looking for a good spot can try the area where there is a recreation club you check in for chalet (sorry forgot the building name).
You can bath hot water in the shower room at the pool and a 15 mins walking distance to food centre/UDMC, 5 mins walk to public toilet. Also has a bus stop to take you to Bedok Interchange.

As for peeping tom, yes we kenna one before. We left the zipped door opening a little and suddenly my gf saw someone peeping. I didn't look but gather my shorts, put on and cheong out to grab him. He is a bangla.
I punched him. He ran off with in his bicycle.

As for permit, last I know on weekdays you need but weekends free n easy.
And you are not allow to tie ropes onto any trees. WTF

hahaha...tents in parks. Yeah it is a good activity man esp in spore so much uninteresting things if not much cash at hand.

Had a wild night at ECP with a girl before...but not before enduring a thunderstorm, seriously trying to wreck our tent. I was all fours, legs and hands supporting the tent poles while the girl hugging on me as she was scared. The rain water actually leaked in! OMG lo..but after 30 mins it went off..whoohoo! U know after a heavy downpour, it humid is like quite high and we make out at the same time..damn sweaty upon so but one word to describle..shiok!

However, in my humble opinion. Please do not do it. Why?

Nearby spirits will be attracted usually having sex outdoor. These spirits enjoy "watching" couples having sex very much.

The worst one I had seen was a horde of "hao xiong di" crowded together watching a couple having sex in the car at Old Birdcage Walk (near to the camp).

I know it may sound stupid and bros may not believe what I am sharing.
