Met up with my ex-gf during the weekend.

Actually was supposed to have a n appointment with may but i lied to her that I have something on at home so unable to go out with her. After putting down the phone, i was rather guilty of lying to her.

Anyway met up my ex-gf over at orchard. During the wait, i was very nervous yet anticipated. Want to know how she looks like after all these years. Yet I was very in a mix feeling. Hoping that we will not meet up eventually. Cause I am afraid that I will get fickle and in the end ssettle down with my ex-gf again.

Finally she appeared right in front of me. Indeed she looks prettier and mature than before. A very typical professional woman. We went for a high-tea after that and spent near to 4 hrs at the hotel restaurant. At first the topic between us was rather casual, covering all these years of updates on oursleves. However as we chat further on the past years, the chat slowly went to the time when we ar together. So much of sweet memories when as we piece-up everything on what we have done, the time spent together etc. Then i can sensed that she begins to hint me about the possibilities of getting together. I was rather moved at that time but i managed to hold myself.

Yes, i was the one who initiated the breakup 3 years ago but it was with valid reasons. The broke off is not about "fling" for sure.

Time to go and we bidded goodbye with a simple friendship kiss. We promised to be friends eventually whatever the outcome is.

Well bro, what made you break up with your ex in the first place? I say forget about her and move on. You have may now, and she seems to be interested in you too right? Don't think you want to risk losing her, and regret next time. Don't go through life asking yourself,"what if.."

Think you're really in love.... know that you might be apprehensive about goin into a new relationship, but think abt it... I feel it's better to take the risk of goin into a brand, new one rather than try to rekindle an old one and run the RISK of it failing again...Furthermore, it was you who initiated the first breakup, right?
