If repeat offence confirm no tagging.
If within one year go in confirm no tagging.
3rd time go in....within 3 years....my guess is as good as 0.

Guess I'm lucky. My first brush with the law was in 1993. holiday camp for 2 weeks. 2nd offence was towards the end of 1995. Sentence is 12 months. During that time no such luxury of tagging. Then after 12 years of good life outside, re-visited for the 3rd time and was slap with 23 months sentence. Non of the 3 offences are related nor similar, so sit for 9 months and came out for tagging for 6 months.

Can do is can do, but have to be tactical and cell mate must help to "see water", just don't get caught only mah

U have done yourself proud by choosing the right path. I am happy for you. you dun have to tell anyone about your past. Its the present and the future that is important. Very glad you have moved on and is a better person now.

That's how unreasonable prison can be. They dont owe u a reason for whatever decision they made. Some warden will tell u because the cell is so small and u might disturb yout cell mate while u trying to exercise and argument or even fight might arise due to this so they strictly don't allow exercising in the cell. During yard time you can do whatever exercise u want so long as u don't hurt yourself and others.

I think got some relevance.
Talking about prison break, they say Singapore is impossible to escape.
Once I was in remand in the old central police station, there was one gunman and another drug trafficker in same cell.
Both hatch plan to escape, held police hostage also killed a few. Drama lasted few hours.
End up not successful but very high drama. End up both hang but gunman was already facing death but the trafficker was actually not...

Re: My life experience in Changi Prison (Cluster B)

Back to tagging...
My FB husband going in soon ask me about tagging...

She is thai but no PR only green card. With kids no job and current stay in govt rented flat. Hubby is bankrupt.

From what I know if got divorce, bankruptcy proceedings or owe govt money then cannot go tagging. Also only family support by family members who are PRs at least. So her case is no chance right?

Like that she asked about halfway house, anyone got experience? Because I only been thru tagging. HD and work. For the work I got my friend company to employ me. 7am-10pm, as close to freedom as I could get.

Reminds me of a friend who walk out of QRP unattended when being escort back from court and his gf flew back from Australia Just to meet him. This case caused a big hooha and the lapse of security was even debated during parliamentary session. Ended up he was arrested at beach road area while meeting his gf. This fellow is a amateur bodybuilder and a frequent visitor in and out of prison. Think if the warden see his bodybuild muscle also scare of him lol.

Unless his parents are still around and willing to support his programme otherwise gone case given the status of your FB. As to bankruptcy, its very subjective, I do heard a few cases whereby the inmate was a undischarged bankrupt but went out for tagging. I think as long as the bankruptcy was declared before the sentence was passed, he might still have a chance. Halfway house are mostly for drug related cases so unless your FB husband is falls under this category. During my time there is also this programme where inmates leave selarang in the morning to work snd goes back after he finish work.
