Apparently Mourinho was initially interested in Lacazette but later changed his mind(actually looks like fresh mind games with Wenger

) because he came to the view that Lacazette "has no stamina, no physical impact and isn't a big-game player"

Really gutted Liverpool did not sign James Rodriguez.

Would have been sweet with him behind Firmino, Salah and Mane on the wings while Coutinho or Lallana pulled the strings deep in midfield.

Somehow I don't see how James Rodriguez would fit into Klopp's model for Liverpool . Liverpool really need a centerback ; left back ; box-to-box midfielder and a striker more urgently .

There is no good LB available now and those current LB are expensive. Dun think Klopp willing to spend much on LB. Andy Robertson from Hull City is a defender and not a proper LB but will be to cover Milner.

We still have Milner and many CBs to cover the LB position.Expect Moreno to go before transfer window closed.
