are u here for a trade show? if so, it's a bit difficult to get a good hotel for the price of rmb 500. if not, then u can try Radisson SAS or Novotel Beijing Sanyuan, u may be able to get them at that price if u are lucky.

Yes I will be in BJ for a trade show and it seems the nearby hotels do increase their prices during a trade show.

Thanks to bros for the recommendation. I decided to stay in Novotel Beijing Sanyuan as it has good online reviews.

I am also planning to hit the bar or club right after I check in, which would be quite late as my flight will touch BJ at 23.30. I saw in earlier posts that mentioned visitors are not allowed after 23.00. Does this mean that I could not bring a girl back to my hotel? Please enlighten me.

严打 includes all, ktvs, sauna, and hotels also. Most ktv girls will not go back with you to hotel during this period unless you are regular customers. 公安 do regular checks on hotels. Be careful, dun get caught with your pants down.

Good hotels are stricter than small hotels. They will insist you register the girl after 11pm. Service apartments are safer than hotels. Another safer way is to do it during day time, either girls from okts or ktv girls. Most ktv girls would not go with you after 11pm. You can however get her number and ask her to come to your hotel next day.
