Houjie generally is more developed and more expensive than CP, ready post #210 you will know, just 5 star hotel, Houjie already have 5, which has the most 5 star hotel among all the dongguan towns.

Makan cost is about the same, but the spending is higher in term of ktv and also hotel room. The lowest 5 star hotel rate is about RMB450-500, which is about 50% more than CP. And all the 5 star ktv girls generally ended with 10 (1K), like 2-8-10, 3-8-10.
Even the 4 star hotel, now most of them has "upgraded" from 2-5-8 to 2-6-8.

In term of ktvs, Houjie got lots more than CP. And ktv is the specialty for Houjie.
Wanted to write something about houjie ktv, but only half way through and has been pending for long time, still could not find time to complete it...


One more thing, do not expect roti van as what you can find in CP, Houjie only have the taxi and private car...

Hou is 厚 meaning thick; not back. So guys that cheong houjie may have to be call thick skin boy, or in view of the high price- thick wallet boy...hahha

Houjie is fairly near SZ airport. So good idea to stopover at houjie on the day of arrival for suana. Maybe plus one day for KTV as well; before proceeding to CP.

Another 5 star hotel coming…

Wellton International, which located at QiaoTou town, will be in operation starting December this year.

QT is about 20 mins away from CP (north east direction). For those who are not aware, CP is surrounded by many towns that includes: DongKeng, DaLang, HuangJiang, ZhangMuTou, XieGang, QiaoTou, QiShi, HengLi.

Having 68 ktv rooms, which is same as Jiayi; and 96 sauna rooms, which is more than any sauna in CP!
