Well, In my view, it's better to put my SG cash in my pocket other than people wallet. Don't be greed by the additional of 20 Bahts approximately equal to S$0.85. Cheers.

1 ringgit = 11 baht

so it must be bigger for sg dollars.

Parkway's rates seem quite competitve. Comparable to the popular money changer at the side of People's Park...less the long queue.

Well, guess u would have quite some Baht left for next time. Bonk more on your next trip then.

Due to over viewing on "PuYing" therefore contacted with inmature eye disease. I had to attend my appointment @ National Eye Ctr for further check-up. After my appointment, I went People Park Ctr to check out the rate. The prevailing rate is 23.60.. Btw, the ophthalmologist whom attended me @ Level 1 clinic is a young, sweet,good looking & petite lady.

Anyway, 23.6 seems a bit low...kinda expected better rates at People's Park. Well, maybe Baht is getting stronger?

About Dubai, i was at Ya Kun having kopi a few days ago and overheard some uncles discussing a conspiracy theory that the other UAE states are shorting on the Dubai Exchange since Dubai World first defaulted. Intentionally gave the market an impression that Abu Dhabi was gonna help settle the debts then pulled out at the last minute. A bit far-fetched but an interesting piece of coffeshop talk.

Yes, but it's all relative to USD. Our budgets be it shopping or puyings, will have to just live with market forces at work. Not unless it's big bucks feeling the pinch. To digress, yours was juicy intel. Dubai is just a big real estate bubble
