What is the confusion?? For EPL, 2017-2018 season, 4 teams will go CL but the 4th team will be in playoff. If the 4th team wins against the other playoff team from another league then it will join the rest in group stage. For 2018-2019 season, all 4 teams from EPL will go straight to group stage in CL.

2017/18 season still need to go through playoff to qualify for the grp stage! From 2018/19 season, all top 4 go straight to grp stage! That's my understandings of the new rule!

Mate, you've got to be an idiot to be honest.

Roberto is one of the stand out players for me and taking into consideration he has been in England for less than 2 seasons, he has faired better than some players.

He has been deployed as a false 9 but he is primarily a 10 and given how he goes about his game, he has done well.

Get behind your team.

Frankly i don't care about the United v Ajax game, although I think United may win because these type of matches are suited to Mourinho's style and temperament.

If United do win the EL then i would say Mourinho has had an average season but should they lose to Ajax, then i would say he has had a very mediocre season. This is the richest club in the world we are talking about.

As for Liverpool, pains me to say this being a Reds fan since 1974, but we ain't the Big Club we once were in our golden days during the 70s up to 1990( afew false dawns since then do not count).

We are presently still a legacy big club with a small "b" trying to find our way back to being a Big Club once again.

Sunday's result shall determine whether we progress further or its another one of those 2 steps forward 1 step backwards thinggy.

Ah Gong thanks for your reply . So if Liverpool finish in 4th spot will have to go through playoff. So what happens if Liverpool lose in the playoff does that mean Liverpool cannot play in the Champions League ? So will Liverpool drop to play in the Europa League instead ? If only Liverpool had beaten Crystal Palace all this would not have happen .

Ah Gong believe that Liverpool must give Origi the chance to develop . Tonbe fair to him Origi is still young and his decision making always let him down in the final 3rd . Give him time to develop and Ah Gong believes he will be able to develop into a top striker for Liverpool one day . Are we talking about the same player or not ? His play is inconsistent and he showed up when he is playing against the top 6 clubs . Against the lower half the table he is just an ordinary player . Even origin is better than him . Ah Gong feels that you are entitled to your opinion . Maybe Ah Gong need a new a pair of specs .
