So exciting to see the faces of the various thugs that fight police special forces, using machete and various tools. All Indo physiognomies represented. I am in cold Europe, but it was like strolling around Jodoh market

Thugs and gangsters in the movie have bad faces, but not worse than those of drug dealers behind Planet! I have seen worse...
If we want to reduce the flow of tourists to Batam from Singapore, to keep low market prices, one might scare shy Sillyporeans by advertising this trailer and saying that this is the normal people in Batam

Great we can have a pack of like-minded wolves to enjoy...only you ain't one of the wolves fren! These scammers work best as a tag team). And all the other scams because you are thinking - hey, I'm helping this guy out, I'm teaching him....whilst he'll just go along and even without you thinking, he'll scam you.

So watch out for this as this is the easiest and most common way that these guys get to you.
Easy for them to create clones and do this when they ain't got anything better to do.

Last month I went to Batam. Stay at the harbour bay get the taxi driver to bring me to look for the girl. He brought me to permata indah the quality of the girl is very poor. The girls there mostly is old body out of shape and married I booked for overnight it cost me 1000000=$gd 110. She gives me to play 2 times only. The service is very poor and with attitude problem. Any senior can recommend the place will worth every single cent spend. By the way I felt the taxi driver chopped me . Bring me to nasi Padang shop for lunch it cost 150000 for 3 people. The taxi fare is about 100000. Any phone number of honest taxi driver can share?

On my first visits to Batam, as in some other places in the world, several times I noticed friendly people popping out from nowhere, always offering me to share a beer, or to accompany me, etc. Most of the times, they just want to bring the newbie to a place for chopping and earning some commission. I always deflected offers by smiling and playing naif (my advice: never start open confrontation with anyone)
Batam is a very safe place and 99% of people is wonderful nice, but scammers can be nasty. Just use your common good sense. If you feel you cannot explore Batam on your own without the safeguard of a taxi driver hired in Harbour Bay, better stay in Singapore and wait to have some more experience in travelling. Show you feel lost, and all sharks will approach.

Permata Indah does have younger sexy ceweks. However, many of them seems to have regular customers (not necessarily chinese, have malays) that has booked/reserved them in advance (by phone or message to the mami or cewek directly). So even if you reach there early, the ceweks will not entertain you....some of them also have seemed to have attitude...

I have been looking through a lot of the posts on this Batam thread and to the old timers...RESPECT. To the newbies...grow some hair on your kukuchaiu and learn from the older bros. Don't spoil the market with you inexperience...cos what you pay will become the market rate.

Ok a little about me...I have been around Indonesia for about 20 years but lived in Bali for 7. Went all over the shop in Java and know quite a number of places in these 2 areas. Btw I'm 45 years old so not so kuai . A word of advice, Indonesian language is not the same as Malay, just similar. A lot of words, syntax and slang is actually like a different language. SO I advise those newbies to go online and learn the language...some key words like:

Malay Indonesian
Tak nggak
Boleh bisa
Kawan teman
Relax santai
Senang gampang

etc etc..so can you see how different it is actually?

Please feel free to contact me for any info you want thru [email protected] ...how to sian girls etc . If anyone is going to Batam please let me know in advance, I might join you. I can even be a translator being able to speak Indonesian and local street language pretty well.

Remember...be nice when you are there. Indonesians are calm people but they do have a mob mentality and will get unreasonably aggressive. I have seen incidents with my own eyes where they take law into their own hands and the robber/rapist/perpertrator dies! Just be cook and relax...don't talk too much then no one will know whats on your mind
