Firmino was our best player by miles.
Always pressing players and winning the ball back.
It is such a pity he took a knock on his calf and I felt the Sunderland player did that on purpose.
Mane was not in form in the last 2 matches and needs to improve.

I guess Klopp has to field a weak team on Tuesday.
Hope some players get the rest they need and face Bournemouth stronger.

Mane not too bad lah, I would give an above average performance from him overall. Don't forget he got the penalty for Pool after an amazing run. Sometimes our expectations are too high on them..
N also Sunderland's ultra defensive tactics made it hard for Pool to break them down!

With Sadio Mane away for the African Nations Cup and Ings still in the treatment room.... practically our entire frontline is absent. Hopefully our 2nd stringers like Origi, Ojo, Ben Woodie can step up and grab this chance to show their stuff.

On the contrary I think Klopp is going all out in the League Cup as this is the most easy winnable route to a trophy for the Reds. Just 3 more matches to go and another piece of Silverware for the trophy cabinet.

And we have enough capable players from the bench to put out a strong winning team vs Leeds.
