Have anyone heard about news on S'poreans got trap in one of PatPong sex show and were force to pay 14,500 Baht

in order to leave the club? Anyone know which clubs it could be so that cheongster here can avoid falling into the same trap?

this is hardly news anymore, bro. As far as I know, the gogobars on the second floor in Patpong are no-go as most of them engaged in such scheme. those on the ground floor facing the open night market are generally safe. it seems to me to be quite well-known as a few travel sites and many cheongsters have mentioned this fact before. and it only happened in Patpong, not Nana Plaza or Soi Cowboy.

Have you been to Patpong before yourself?

Rule of Thumb for Patpong... DON'T GO UPSTAIRS! But guess not everybody that comes to Thailand will actually surf SBF to check? 555

If really wan to see such shows may I suggest you arrange with your tour guide? Did this more than 10 years ago and no hassles or hidden costs. Paid what was quoted by my guide.

That's why never choose a girl for ST/LT towards the end of the night.
Desperation plus horniness always lead to wrong judgements.
Especially after a night's drinking.
Offload one round or two in the MP during the afternoon.
During night time you'll not be so hard up.

bros....soi cowboy's long gun has free shows every night from 10.30pm...at least they had the last few times i was there...plus the go gos on the 1st floor of nana plaza usually has shower shows....nothing interesting. hope this helps

I've been to Patpong but didn't dare to go in when those gals kept persuading us to go in. Now come to think of it, it was a good thing that we didn't. I'll stick to Soi Cowboy and Nana plaza from now on. Thks, bro.

If not sure better stick to the usual places that been recommended here as safe unless you are adventurous one and prepare to be chop left right and centre!

Everytime people always want to find out about "the other side of the fence" but do not want to take risk and choose to adopt the typical Singapore kiasu/kiasi mentality.

In the BKK threads I only see bro rockoffs sharing his off the beaten track Agogo Bar adventures consistently. I admire his spirit although his arena may not be my preference. Yes he's not Singaporean.

For ago go bars with sexy shows..can also go to Barcarra at Soi Cowboy. I was there 2 Fridays ago and was surprised to see the school girls dancing with their tops off on the lower floor and the dancers naked performing sexy shows on the upper floor.

For the ago go bars at Patpong,I always stick to King Castle 1, 2 and King's Corner. Heineken for only 100TB cheaper than places at SC and Nana Plaza.
Kings Corner at Patpong is a must go- Quite a big agogo bar with many beautiful transvestites and girls dancing as well. You can see a lot of Hollywood or korean stars look alikes. They were all so beautiful that I may have problems picking out the real girls if they did not seperate them during their pole dances. I remembered reading a FR some time back in Aug that someone managed to bring back a Megan Fox look alike. Yeah I did saw a few of them over there and they were all transvestites.

To be frank other than the "up-stairs" in Patpong area and the in-famous Lumphini Park, the rest of the areas are relatively safe......whether they will over-charge you as you "look" like a foreigner to them is another story.

If they over-charge you then black-list them and move on......but mind you it is takes ages to cover all the areas as many closed down over the years and many mushroom up at the same times.

To me in BKK to cover all the pubs, spas, gentlemen clubs,Mps, genuine massages is almost impossible even for a local.

Ha ha..you will be even surprised when a taxi driver gives me a blank look..when I said pai Nana plaza. Only when I said Sukhumvit soi nana then he gao zai.
