That's why in this forum, got some act like SAINT, flame others when in fact their chao pattern from last time already knew. If these people like to meet up and cheong together, bo bian that is their problem if one day lend money no return. That is because they chose to mix around with these people.

When I cheong with my friend, my friend also auto. He say he open 1 bottle, I open 1 bottle. Drink from own bottle, no dispute. Unless he offer or I offer, if not we never ask the other party to pay or go dutch.

No money don't borrow from friend to go cheong. Super Sia Sway. To me no different from those singers who want to ask money from customers.

IMHO for samsters meeting up 1st time or those we don't know well, go dutch is the best way unless like me say want to treat you to one jug b4hand. Also must agree on how much 1st.....if not wait you want drink beer only but the other party order one bottle.
As for those we regard as friends, no fixed rules but like you highlighted must be auto....he spent 1st then you try to spend back around the same amount or in other form......example friend treat dinner so you treat drinks.

from observation, on any given trip, most white collar (2-4 persons sharing @ $40-80/pax)), finishes their bottle of liquor on the same day or following visit, some that hold their liquor better, order their 2nd bottle... while noticeably, the ah-bengs (7-8persons) probably still sipping mixers, on account of their 1st bottle (bottle hardly lifted off the table to pour).

reason/excuse - 7-8persons share, so must only drink from the bottle when all are present.
or, we cant hold our liquor, scared later drunk liao cant control our rage... LOL...

Aiyo, why like that. Maybe they need to drive le? You say until like that i feel very cheap le. I only sip sip only. I cannot hold liquor well and sometimes i need to send friends home. Usually 1 glass of beer i face red red liao. like that how? I also don't wanna drink so much cos bad for health la, drinking is for leisure only. Some people like to ta ta, bo ta bo lan pa.
