Yesterday price at Arcade is SGD$1 = 24.27 baht

You are welcome. I think it is because of the rise in USD. USD is growing stronger and stronger. I think the Ringgit rate will hit less than 220 very soon...

Just checked the rate on bkk bank website, indicated 24.4 to S$1

The rate on www.xe.com is about 24.7 to S$1

Anyone saw the rate at Don Muang Airport recently?

Average is 1500baht.

Better change here in Sg. I've been there-BKK for the past 1 mth and the local bank there is offering 24.11 +-.

Agree, better to exchange in S'pore. Was in BKK last week & best rate was 24.17 to 24.24.

Notice that in BKK, the exchange rates are different even within the same bank, but different branches.

Yesterday, the rate at GM was 24.5

but got no reason to be changing money then

May I offer my experiences too?

I travel frequently in the region, to me... I always thought that exchanging for local currency is always best to do so when you are in that country.

Exchanging for foreign currency even in Singapore may not get you the best rates.

For eg... for Malaysian Ringitt. If I change here in Singapore, I get aboout RM2.16 for S$1.00 But if I change at KLIA, the rate is at RM2.18 And if I take the trouble to walk out the malls like Mid Valley, or even Sungeu Wang, I can get RM2.20 rate. Ok - just my 2 cents worth (no pun intended). So dont flame me if you dont agree.

Anyway - back to the BKK THB rate. I was just there last week. The rate was 24.10 for S$1.

ah neh shops offering 24.5 tdy
i change 1000sing and he gave me the rate of 25!!!!!
