I've no plans for CNY yet. BKK seems like a good idea. As of now air tickets for Tiger Airways and Jetstar are expensive during CNY wor. Have not check Air Asia yet.

airasia would be S$265 for period of 27Jan Tue to 01/Feb Sun, is it cheaper or more ex?

Jetstar 23th - 28th Jan '09 = $138 + $180 (tax) ... fxxxing tax cost more than the tkt .. KNN ...
Tiger 23th - 28th Jan '09 = $190 + $159 (tax) ...

looks like the days when tkt + tax below $200 level is gone ....

It's only during CNY period else under S$200 deal is achievable.
