Actually it is possible as Man Utd's form is starting to pick up and they have become more organised and focused after the thrashing by Liverpool..... so they just might cause an upset by beating their neighbours in the Manchester derby. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
certainly hope Mu can beat Mc.
But is an uphill battle. Reported that RVP injured and could miss the world cup. Home to Sunderland could be juicy. Two of their best player are out.(Fabio Borini and Alonso) Suaraz have scored more than Sunderland so far. Three points is a must. Also need to improve the goal difference. Goal difference could be the deciding factor. SG is one yellow card away from suspension.. http://www.thefa.com/football-rules-...xd4H1k5cxE6.99 |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Liverpool have scored 82 goals in 30 matches, 6 more than Manchester City who has 2 games in hand and 20 more than Chelsea who has played a game more.
If Rodgers can ensure a 2 or 3 goal margin per match, for the remaining 8 matches, Liverpool will hit 100 goals. Since the formation of the Premier League in 1992, Chelsea (103 goals) is the only team to score over 100 goals in the English top flight. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Too bad guys, our hated rivals MU are juz too poor at the moment to do us any favours. They were thrashed 0-3 by City. City are now one point ahead of us with a game in hand. Consolation, Arse were held 2-2 by Swansea after conceding a goal in the dying minutes. As it stands, we are 2 points ahead of Arse and could further tighten our grip on 3rd with a win agt Sun tomor!

I hope Arsenal can do Liverpool a small favour by taking 3 points at the Emirates against Manchester City this weekend.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
What Alan Hansen said in his recent article in yesterday's Today (lifted from an English newspaper) is pretty much accurate. If City wins at both Old Trafford and the Emirates, they shall go on and win the EPL. Now 1 down and probably its going to be 2 down after the weekend. Plus City's goal difference continues to grow as well.
All is not lost though, as I always keep in mind what Jimmy Greaves told Ian St. John about football, "It's a funny old game, Saint". So you never can tell. Reds are doing the right thing by taking every game as it comes from now to the end of the season. Hope the Reds take 3 points, Suarez get's closer to #31 and Mignolet keeps a clean sheet tomorrow morning. YNWA |
