What i mean here is she had 3 passports before, but all not expired. The WL may just want to change passport so as to avoid holding the old passport with a lot of singapore entry stamps

One of the WL hv cal me few weeks back, she told me she was been refuse entry into SG and was sent back to vietnam.

The Immigration said that they suspect her of coming here to work as her passport stamps tell all.

now she is getting a new passport. hopefully she can come in.

Sometimes i really don't understand why a clean passport is required? A passport have been chopped many times does not indicate that the gal come sillypore as a WL.

My sis-in-law (not ROM in sillypore yet) was a student here up till early last year. Now she no more a student but still come in and go out of sillypore many times. Her passport got many sillypore entry/exit chop. She is still allow entry.

Oh ok thanks. Well, so she should not face much problems since she is applying for her first passport regardless of whether she is from the province or HCM ? Sorry to trouble so much as I not sure how the system in VN 'runs'.

I thk too much authority r given to the immigration, that y they yaya papaya many. A check and balance should be in place.

Does it work since immigration would have scanned the information into their system and it will show up the number of times she came back

Like that also can. About a week ago I was in a Vietnamese village which is about 9 hours away from HCM and my friend who married a Vietnamese gal there introduce her wife cousin to me -- very young only 20 years old and petite. Unfortunately there is a communication gap -- I can't speak vietnamese and she can't speak vietnamese.

Any way they seem to like Singaporeans as I am having facial in one of the village soloan and one of the pretty hairdresser ask my friend wife to introduce any eligible Singaporeans bachelors to her. This one is better unfortunately my friend's wife refuse to introduce to me as she want me to focus on her cousin. No choice since I cannot speak Vietnamese.
