Yes Royal Amsterday is right at the centre of the action in Field Ave! It is just next to the Kebab place. Opposite is another nice hotel but I can't remember the name off my mind right now.

But once u step out of RA Hotel, Left side is to Golden Nile, Blue Nile, Club Asia, some Korean KTVs / restaurant / grocery shop and also Bangkok Hotel, Blue Nile Hotel etc..

Right side is to Doll House, Atlantis and drunken duck I think. The room is clean and staffs pretty friendly. I like the place due to the fast WIFI and sofa in the room. I normally carried a labtop with me and the fast WIFI allowed me to check email and also the local stock market. hehee.

Also the advantage of having a labtop is some of the young girls like to play facebook or games online!! My last girl is so hooked to the labtop that they don't even want to go home the next day till I said I want to go for my daily massage. Then will she go home and meet me later at night. heeee

Is Amsterdam hotel on the fields strip? Same row as LaPasha etc...i recall a kebab place there but can't remember the hotel.

The hotel is called Orange Lion.
Directly infront of Hotel Royal Amsterdam.

Hello,

I've stayed at Royal Amsterdam Hotel twice and during my next trip, I'll be staying at the Bangkok Hotel. Royal Amsterdam has carpet so you can walk around barefoot but the water pressure in the shower is very WEAK and the bathroom has musty odor due to lack of exhaust fan!

Just to add to experiences in Royal Amsterdam.
If you are using Smart sim and you got a standard room (Rm 4), then be prepared for "No Signal" spots in the room.

been to AC 4 times..stayed at Royal Amsterdam 3 times and once at orange lion. Heard from other frens who went there that Bangkok Hotel and Royal Apartelle are good alternatives and cheaper also.

Never had the chance to try any of the massage there as my trips are always a 3d/2n "rush". Any good massage place at Fields?

If you want European style atmosphere, can try the Swiss Chalet hotel next to the bus terminus. The owner is a very nice horny old man from Switzerland.

Donch know if he is still alive or whether the hotel has changed because I last stayed there in 2006.

The rooms are too old! I've heard too many complaints regarding the bed! But the price of the rooms are reasonable.

There is a Central Park nearby. I remember we took a bus from Manila to AC and the journey ended there. As we walk out from the terminus, the first hotel we saw was the Swiss Chalet that's why we stayed there. I am sure it was a terminus as there were several other buses parked there too.
