We must win! Won't be good to go winless at home against Arsenal 3 times in a season.

Esp when top 4 position is almost secured, finishing 3rd looks better only... We still have to go through qualifying round for next season CL... And more esp when we are running on quite a "either play well but cant score or play poorly but wont lose" patch...

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
considering Pool has a CL match against Eindhoven this coming Tuesday, will it affect the players mentality in not giving it all against the Gunners so in order to save their energy for the CL matches which seems to be their priority now considering that the EPL is now out of their reach?

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Uncle Gillett,Hicks & family will be around to watch the match, better perform,if not ......
Our players tend to lose the high tempo required to win a match after a long break ( eg against Villa), Rafa has to fix this problem. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Liverpool's strikers have not been scoring lately and Arsenal is toothless without Henry. Expecting a draw game after all

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Bros, just read the news, that the City Council wants LFC to consider sharing the stadium with the Toffees. Argggghhhhhhhh.
From Sky Sports >> Council wants Reds to share By Peter ORourke - Created on 28 Mar 2007 Liverpool's new American owners have been asked by the city council to consider again sharing a stadium with Everton. American duo George Gillett and Tom Hicks have made building a new stadium one of their top priorities after gaining full control of Liverpool. The pair have ordered a review of plans as they consider increasing the 60,000-capacity at their new Stanley Park home. Liverpool have always ruled out the possibility of sharing a stadium with their neighbours, but city council leader Warren Bradley wants them to reconsider. "They have got their guys (Dallas firm HKS) looking at designs, infrastructure and everything. "Are you telling me a commercial business in America doesn't sweat the asset? They sweat that asset until they can't get any more out of it. If they can consider increasing the stadium size, why can't they consider a shared stadium?" Bradley also believes Everton's Goodison Park could be redeveloped to increase capacity. "I think in a few years' time they'll be playing in a new stadium and I think it will be in Liverpool," added Bradley. "I would be happy with a joint stadium, I've got to be honest, but my gut feeling is probably not. "I don't see any reason why Goodison Park can't be redeveloped. "You could quite easily fit an additional footprint and some commercial activity - a hotel, for example - into a new development.'' A better article from The Daily Mail >>> Liverpool should 'consider sharing new stadium' Last updated at 12:57pm on 28th March 2007 Liverpool's new owners have been asked by city council leaders to look again at the possibility of sharing their new stadium with Everton. American tycoons George Gillett and Tom Hicks want to make Liverpool's new Stanley Park stadium even bigger than the planned 60,000-capacity but will need council permission. Liverpool have always ruled out sharing with Everton but city council leader Warren Bradley wants them to reconsider. Bradley told the Liverpool Echo: "They have got their guys (Dallas firm HKS) looking at designs, infrastructure and everything. "Are you telling me a commercial business in America doesn't sweat the asset? They sweat that asset until they can't get any more out of it. If they can consider increasing the stadium size, why can't they consider a shared stadium?" Everton are considering moving to a site outside Liverpool in Kirkby but Bradley - a Blues season-ticket holder - believes Goodison Park could be redeveloped. He added: "I think in a few years' time they'll be playing in a new stadium and I think it will be in Liverpool. I would be happy with a joint stadium, I've got to be honest, but my gut feeling is probably not. "I don't see any reason why Goodison Park can't be redeveloped. You could quite easily fit an additional footprint and some commercial activity - a hotel, for example - into a new development." Another from BBC Sports Desk >>> Liverpool get groundshare request Liverpool hope to increase capacity at their planned new stadium Liverpool's new owners Tom Hicks and George Gillette have been asked by city council leaders to look again at sharing their new stadium with Everton. The American tycoons want to make Liverpool's proposed new stadium bigger than the planned 60,000-capacity. Liverpool have always ruled out sharing with Everton but council leader Warren Bradley wants them to reconsider. He told the Liverpool Echo: "If they can consider an increase in size, why can't they consider a shared stadium?" Liverpool have yet to confirm the decision to suspend preparatory work on the £215m project in Stanley Park, but have revealed a review will be undertaken. And Bradley, a Blues season-ticket holder, feels Hicks and Gillette could be persuaded to allow Everton to share the new ground. He added: "They have got their guys (Dallas firm HKS) looking at designs, infrastructure and everything. "Are you telling me a commercial business in America doesn't sweat the asset? They sweat that asset until they can't get any more out of it. Everton are considering moving to a new site outside Liverpool in Kirkby but Bradley also thinks redeveloping their current home Goodison Park should not be ruled out. "I think in a few years' time they'll be playing in a new stadium and I think it will be in Liverpool," Bradley explained. "I would be happy with a joint stadium, I've got to be honest, but my gut feeling is probably not. "I don't see any reason why Goodison Park can't be redeveloped. You could quite easily fit an additional footprint and some commercial activity - a hotel, for example - into a new development." Apologies if its repetative. I hope the new owners will turn the council down and hope that the council will approve the request to expand the capacity of the new stadium. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
At the end of the day,it's our wonder captain who made the breakthrough, making all the England strikers blushed, what a cool finish for his 2nd goal. With the absence of fat Lampard,he was a pleasure to watch at the centre of midfield. Rafa, please put him back more often to where he belongs
